Our eHouse is destined to the largest Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) ever built, in the Port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire.
The project involves the engineering design, manufacture and supply of n. 1 plug-in eHouse, STC-Box, 33kV and n. 1 control room.
The eHouse is equipped with medium-voltage (MV) switchgears 36kV 2500A 25kA(1s), 110 VDC System with battery, 230 VAC SYSTEM with battery, Patch Panel, HVAC system, fire detection system and auxiliary LV switchboard.
The TSO room is equipped with high-voltage (HV) protection panel, SCADA panel, HVAC system, fire detection system, auxiliary low-voltage (LV) switchboard.
The Cheviré BESS project in Nantes, France, will be the country’s largest battery storage system (100 MW/200 MWh) using Tesla Megapacks. Built on a former coal plant site, it will provide grid balancing and support renewable integration. Construction began in July 2025, with operations set for winter 2026.
