Description
The project was carried out thanks to the donation offered to the government of the Ivory Coast, to provide power to a photovoltaic system, used for the extraction and purification of groundwater.
The installation included solar pumps and a 10kWp solar container, measuring 7.5x2 meters, each module produces up to 40,000Wh per day, able to extract about 10,000 liters of water from the wells. The water is suitable for human, agricultural and healthcare use. The distinguishing factor of this project is the possibility of bringing energy even to rural places thanks to the plug & play solution. Once positioned, it opens and activates the functions of a solar power plant. The plant was inaugurated and started up in the presence of the major political representatives of the Ivorian government, including the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, together with Italy's ambassador in Ivory Coast.
