In this article we want to take a closer sight on the engineering hub of C.R. Technology Systems, to better undestand how the need for energy turns into turn key solutions.
A project always starts from an idea, a study, a precise calculation of many different variables which must align with each other to create the perfect mix necessary to electrify a city.
Our engineering hub is primarily composed of electrical and mechanical engineers who work closely together to provide innovative and cutting-edge technical solutions.
Electrical engineering
The electrical engineering is the result of the genious of figures like Edison and Tesla, and it continues to evolve to face the present challenges (sustainability and equitable access to energy in primis).
For C.R. Technology Systems innovation is a key point that permeates every phase of our work.
In the latest years, challenges have multiplied, including the generation of sustainable energy, as photovoltaic and biomass, with standards still in development. Other key trends concern smart energy, with constantly evolving interfaces, and the expansion toward emerging markets, each with its specific needs and regultions.
“The fundamental goal is to stay updated and to anticipate trends by implementing new technologies that enable us to remain competitive and current in the energy market,” says Yuri Alba, Project Manager and coordinator of the electrical engineering department.
“The main task is to guarantee that every electrical component, from cables to control panels, is perfectly integrated into the overall system. The management of energy flows and operational safety are absolute priority, and everything must be configured to ensure continuity and reliability. The electrical design requires special attention to interconnections and efficiency, ensuring that the plant is not only functional, but also safe and easily maintanable.”
Mechanical engineering
The design of our solutions relies on precise calculations and measurements performed by our mechanical engineers, who ensure a solid and functionable structure, and address important aspects such as the thermal optimization, guaranteeing that equipment does not overheat and operates safely and efficiently. Our mechanical solutions are designed to be modular, adjustable to different project needs and easily expandable.
The choice of the right material is another crucial element in the realization of our projects. The materials used for constructing enclosures and electrical panels must be selected based on the environment in which they will operate, while also ensuring an optimal product lifecycle and the safety of the contained equipment from potential overheating. Increasingly, this choice considers sustainability, favoring recyclable and durable materials.
“In our work, one of the biggest challences is the level of costumization e offer with our products” explains Claudio Brembati, Technical director of the mechanical engineering department. ” We take pride in creating tailored solutions for our clients, but it is equally crucial to maintain a production standard that ensures efficiency and quality. Every project requires a thorough study of the client’s needs, and our goal is to find the right balance between flexibility and speed of execution, providing customized solutions without ever compromising our technical excellence.”
Moreover, he adds: “Reconciling structures, equipment, and components in a confined space, such as that of an enclosure, is not easy at all. Mechanical design plays a crucial role in optimizing the layout, ensuring that each element has the right space to operate correctly and is easily accessible to the operator. The task of the mechanical engineer is to create systems that fit together perfectly, almost like Lego, which exist in their mind even before their actual realization.”
The sustainable aspect is another important element that permeates all the company departments. Materials used comply with the strict laws in force in Europe and we are proud to show a high ESG sustainability score, awarded to us by Cerved after a thorough analysis.
Team work
The Engineering Hub is a thus a group of professionals who bring together different skills and know-how, aimed at creating a common product.
Sharing objectives and knowledge is the key to success. “Only in this way can we all row in the same direction. A mechanical engineer must understand, at least in part, the work of the electrical engineer, and vice versa.”
Within the Engineering Hub of C.R. Technology Systems, the atmosphere is very positive, and interpersonal relationships are definitely a strong point.
